Myself and my wife Theresa spent our honeymoon travelling around Sri Lanka.
We had a wonderful trip thanks mainly to our driver, guide, entertainer and new friend Sarath. From the moment he collected us from the airport in Colombo, I knew we were in for a great trip around the beautiful country of Sri Lanka. We found the people of Sri Lanka to be so warm and friendly and Sarath was no different.
As we travelled around the country we felt very comfortable and safe with Sarath, while at the same time always laughing and joking with him. (his humour is very similar to the Irish humour). We were overjoyed to be invited around to his family home for dinner where his wife and daughter prepared a fantastic meal for us. They made us feel really at home. The only bad thing about the trip was that we only got to spend one week there.
We had a wonderful time and Sarath made it very special for us. We would highly recommend Sarath to show you around his beautiful country. He is very well educated, very knowledgeable about the history and the culture of Sri Lanka, highly entertaining and a wonderful guy. Thanks so much for everything Sarath
